Pacific Textiles

Financial control, accountability and budgeting

Pacific Textiles is probably one of the most successful textiles companies you have never heard of. They are the primary supplier of fabrics to major brands such as Calvin Klein, Maidenform, Triumph, VF Intimates and Victoria's Secret.

A privately held company, it has been so successful it has never had to go public to raise operating capital.

However, while being consistently profitable year after year, no company can run on Excel and paper authorisation forms forever, especially if future expansion is in the works.

Pacific Textiles needed a budgeting and forecasting solution that would meet their needs now, and be flexible enough for the coming years.

Jedox and SAP

Pacific Textiles is a well known user of SAP, having successfully implemented SAP HANA in the last few years.

However, the BPC solution was not the right fit as Pacific Textile's process was constantly changing and needed to adapt to new business conditions especially in Southeast Asia.

As Jedox is based in Excel and has a dedicated SAP connector, it was a natural fit to this environment.

Start to Finish: 4 Months

The Jedox solution was implemented in record time, working closely with internal resources familiar with both SAP and business workflows.

Modules included:

  • Consolidation
  • Central Controlling
  • Inter-company Transaction Entry
  • Subsidiary Reporting
  • Group Reporting
